Discover our Application Criteria
Every day will be different, and we’ll do our best to keep a balance between structure and spaciousness, staying in reciprocity with our individual and collective needs.
So take this flow as an example, to give you a bit of orientation.
Beyond the writing workshops, we've planned a few group activities, including an Open Mic Night and a Lazy Day for rest and reflection. We'll also provide a curated list of local experiences you can explore independently or with fellow writers: Hội An's Old Town in the evening, local craftspeople workshops (weavers, pottery artists), cooking classes, beach time, nature walks, day trips to Da Nang, and more.
This retreat is built on the idea that we rise in community. Your contribution doesn’t just cover your own experience; it helps someone else attend who might otherwise not be able to. If you're able to pay the higher end of the scale, know that you're directly supporting a more inclusive space.
Local Rate ₫3,500,000–₫8,000,000 VND
For participants who live in Vietnam or other South Asian countries may face different economic realities due to systemic inequalities in global income distribution, legacies of colonization, or racialized wage gaps. Whether you're a local artist, writer, activist, or simply navigating a different financial context, this tier is here to honor your participation and make the retreat more accessible. We aim to foster a space that reflects regional diversity and lived experience.
International Rate €300–€600
For participants who have greater financial privilege, whether through nationality, race, passport power, education, or socioeconomic background. That might include expats, digital nomads, remote workers earning a Global North salary, or anyone with more access to disposable income. It is an invitation to consider what you carry, and what you can contribute to the conditions of collective flourishing.
